This image supplied above is a map of Thailand that points out all of the types of food that is prevalent in Thailand that ultimately makes up its culture. In the map it is obvious that noodles and rice are a huge part of the diet in Thailand. They also seem to add a lot of spices to their dishes to make them hot. Vegetables are another thing that they incorporate into their diets. In Thailand there is not a lot of fast food places. They grow most of their food and rely heavily on it in order to be healthy and lvd long lives. We can also see in the map that different parts of Thailand have different types of dishes that they are known for.

This Website is very beneficial for anyone researching Thailand. Thailand is a very unique place in which there is a lot to know about it. This website has Thailand broken down into many groups. For example, the website is broken down into categories like facts and statistics, dress code, languages, society, culture, family values, etiquette, and communication etc. I did not come across this website before when I was researching Thailand and wish I had because it has several categories broken down. This website makes learning about Thailand very easy. The subgroups and categories really help break down all the important components in Thailand.

The next website I found that would be great for information about the culture of Thailand is a website that is strictly on the culture of Thailand. This website goes into a great amount of detail about the culture. This website does not only provide viewers with information but it provides the viewers with images as well. This is very beneficial since some people are visual learners in which they learn better by seeing examples rather than just reading information off of a screen. This website would have been a very valuable resource to me if I had seen it when I had started researching Thailand.

The Change in Food Supply Over the Years in Thailand
![Picture](/uploads/7/2/2/7/72279589/food-supply-1961.jpg?1475696545)
In this screenshot you can see that Thailand does not have a lot of food. There food supply is very scarce. Thailand strongly relied on agriculture to feed their people. The thing with this is that the food in the ground can only grow so fast. Since the people in Thailand like everyone in the world needs to eat everyday. With that said, Thailand had to rely heavily on trade to get some of their food supply because they could only grow so much agriculture at a time.

1965 was the year that Thailand began to become more familiar with how the food supply system worked. They began to come up with ideas to help grow more agriculture at once in order to satisfy their people. China had a lot of food therefore, Thailand relied heavily on China for their food supply.

In this screenshot you can see The Food Supply is not scarce at all. It seems as if there is a decent amount of food in these areas. A lot of their food supplies comes from trading as well as agriculture. Thailand is known for their agriculture. Thailand however in this image seems as if their food supply is a little more scarce than other parts of the Country. Thailand however has come a lot further than what it originally started out as.

Thailand has grown significantly over the years. They have come a long way since 1961 where they had very little food. 2007 was the year in which the began to get more advanced and began to figure out the system for their food supply. Food supply is no longer as scarce as it was back in the day in 1961. Thailand is now capable of growing their own crops successfully as well as trading with others.
RELIGION IN THAILAND
When it comes to religion in Thailand there is no distinct religion unlike some other Countries Buddhism however, is one of their most practiced religions. This is why Thailand has temples therefore, prayer and rituals can happen. According to the constitution in thailand, Thai people have the right to worship and practice whatever religion they feel fit for themselves. Since buddhism however is the most commonly practiced religion in Thailand on average 200,000 Thai people convert every year. Those that do not practice buddhism often feel excluded which ultimately convinces them to convert over. Muslims also make up part of the practice in Thailand. Muslims make up about 4.6% of Thailand's population. Buddhism however makes up about 93.2% of Thailand's population. With that said, that is why a lot of people convert because they often feel disconnected from their people.
Since we have been made aware that Buddhists make up 93% of the population in Thailand, Buddhism obviously plays a huge role in the societal development in Thailand. Buddhist temples are in a lot of locations around Thailand making it a hard thing to miss. Missionaries are also built for those for prayer and worship. There religion also plays a huge part in their everyday by the way they show off and display their artwork. The artwork in Thailand plays a huge role in Thai people's everyday life. They have temples, sculptures, and paintings to help show off their beliefs. Another part of their culture is that they are very welcoming to others. For example, when people come in on ships they all pass out flowers and necklaces to show their appreciation and respect. Buddhists practice happy positive life styles. They do not ever show anger as it shows that they are weak and not practicing what they should be.
Previously stated, Thailand is known for their abstract temples. They have temples located all over Thailand that are very hard to miss. This is exactly how Buddhist practice is a part of their everyday culture in Thailand. They have a few of their temples in Bangkok. They also have caves in which have sacred paintings that individuals can go into to ray and to worship. Another thing that they do is, they have Buddhas and pictures of Buddha all over therefore, they can all worship and practice whenever they feel necessary. They also have group meetings in temples in which they will all gather in a circle and pray together. Some prefer to pray alone while some prefer to pray in a group setting. However, no matter who it is there are accommodations for both to satisfy their needs. Another huge thing that they have is a giant Buddha statue that people can go and worship in front of.
As far as religion and government go in Thailand they have very little connection. The reason this is, is because according to the constitution in Thailand Thai people are allowed to practice and worship what they wish. They feel as if it not their duty to intrude on one's religion. Thailand has no set religion. However, Buddhism does make up 93% of their culture which can ultimately sway someone to convert to Buddhism. However, they are not forced by any means. That is one good thing about Thailand is how the government and religion are not connected. This is probably the best way to go. Religion and Government should not be mixed.
Overall, Thailand does not have a set religion. That however, makes it better for the people. In life, everyone should have the right to believe and practice what they want. Although Buddhism does make up a majority of the practiced religion in Thailand does not mean that has to be the religion someone practices. Another thing is, I find it very smart that in Thailand they do not mix religion and government. When government and religion are mixed it is not an easy thing. There are ultimately issues when this is the case.
